Q + A

If I have received a "Save the Date" and know I cannot attend, what do I do?

If you already know you are unable to attend, we ask that you send us an email at kateearnhardt@gmail.com or text Kate directly.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 20, 2026, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)

What is the best way to get to the ceremony venue?

We will be providing trolleys to and from the venue. Please check the Trolley Schedule under the "Trolley Schedule" tab for pickup times and locations. If none of these work for you, Uber and Lyft are also options!

What should I wear?

For Welcome Party: Southern Cocktail—think sundresses, polos, and your favorite dancing shoes (or boots)! For Ceremony and Reception: Summer Garden Party—Please dress in formal attire with a light, seasonal touch. *For women: Elegant summery dresses in midi or floor-length styles. Dressy sandals, flats, wedges, or heels are great choices. Leave the jeans and formal gowns at home—this is relaxed yet polished. *For men: A suit and tie are encouraged, but no need for a tux. Lightweight fabrics like linen or cotton are encouraged to keep cool in the Charleston heat. Think polished, but warm-weather appropriate.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in an air-conditioned tent.

What will the weather be like?

Average daytime temperatures in June hover around 86°F, with highs occasionally reaching into the 90s°F. Evenings are between 70°F and 75°F. Humidity levels average around 75%, which can make the air feel warmer. June also marks the beginning of Charleston's wetter season, with rainfall averaging about 5.7 inches over approximately 12 days. However, showers are typically brief, often occurring in the late afternoon, leaving plenty of sunshine for the rest of the day. With around 10 hours of sunshine daily, June provides ample daylight for outdoor festivities. The UV index can be high, so guests are encouraged to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.

Can I bring a date?
